FAQ

CFHSHL Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the CFHSHL season?

The CFHSHL plays during the spring; our season runs from late March to the end of May each year. This timing is designed to avoid conflicts with Spring Break and Memorial Day.

When are practices and games?

Practice and game times vary by team. Please check with your team manager to determine the practice days and times.

How many levels of play do you have?

During our Spring season, the CFHSHL offers Varsity A and Varsity B levels of play.

Do I have to be enrolled in high school to play?

Enrollment in a local high school, or an approved homeschool high school curriculum, is required. Prospective players in 8th grade who will be entering high school during the next school year are also eligible.

Which team do I register for?

The teams are listed below with their official catchment areas. You play for the county/area in which your high school is located.  If you are home-schooled, you play for the county/area in which you reside.  If you do not attend school or reside in one of the catchment areas listed below you will be added to the out-of-catchment pool of available players, and the CFHSHL board will assign you to a team based on your location and CFHSHL needs.
